Massive Fan is your specification-ready partner for ATEX-rated fans. Our industrial fans are supplied with CE safety marking and can be supplied with Ex protection marking for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, in compliance with the EU ATEX directive.
ATEX fans can be supplied for Category II and III and used in explosive atmospheres (gas and dust) located in Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22. Motors are tested and certified to ATEX standard by an approved overseas body.
ATEX — short for 'ATmosphere EXplosive' — mandates that all equipment for use in such environments comply with applicable EU standards before market introduction.
